HOW IT WORKS
My interior design process takes you from conception to completion which will see your home move from being an idea to reality. The process is a collaboration between the designer and the client to ensure that you are happy, things run on time and are in budget.
The full process involves points 1 -7 listed below but I offer a service where the client can cherry pick what they want, no two jobs are the same.

INTERIOR DESIGN PROCESS & STAGES
1. DEFINE BRIEF
What is the vision for the project, mood boards & images are used to create this. Your inspiration, starting with what you dream to achieve no matter how realistic. Decide the scope of works, your goals, how the house functions, how it will feel. With all your ideas on the table we will discuss what is achievable and what is not and how we can realise your project.

2. SCHEMATIC DESIGN
With your brief we will create your concept.
Create plans making sure rooms flow harmoniously, with intelligent storage inspired by your daily routines and family life. Your house should be beautiful in form and genius in function. Present concept design and amend with you.

3. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Detailed plans & elevations of each room so that you can visualise your house and make informed decisions. Select fittings, finishes, lighting, door hardware. After your feedback we will make adjustments before fully documenting your house.

4. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION
Drawing package for tender and construction based on all the above information.

5. TENDER
Send the drawings to tender, choose 3 builders to price and make changes if necessary to get the best outcome within your budget.

6. CONSTRUCTION ADMIN
Project manage all builders, joiners and contractors. Attend regular site meetings to problem solve on your behalf and approve all samples before they are installed. Once completed, prepare a defects list to ensure the finished work is to the level required.

7. FF&E
This final stage is where the whole project comes together. FF&E stands for furniture, fittings and equipment. We will curate, help source & specify your collection of furniture, fittings, electrical & accessories to furnish your home.
